City Oyster Unveils New Fall Menu Must-Haves

Organic Scottish Salmon

Inspired by fall harvest flavors, venerable Delray Beach eatery, City Oyster and executive chef Jordan Stilley have added new culinary pearls to their brunch, lunch, and dinner lineup.

Brunch and lunch offerings include tuna tartare ($23) with diced golden beets, watermelon radish, cilantro, cucumber, and nori shio potato chips; smoked turkey pastrami sandwich ($19) stacked with coleslaw, thousand island dressing, Swiss cheese, and Dijon mustard on a pretzel bun; chicken and pork belly fried rice ($24) with vegetables, bean sprouts, crispy shallots, egg, cilantro, and chili-lime soy sauce; and Sobey’s blackened chicken sandwich ($17) with avocado, tomato, red onion, gem lettuce, cheddar cheese, and special sauce served on multigrain bread with hand-cut fries or salad du jour.

Dinner offerings include pan roasted grouper ($46) with mango aji-amarillo sauce, criolla salsa, frisée, hearts of palm, and jasmine rice; organic Scottish salmon ($36) with cherry tomatoes, charred local corn, pancetta, and herb butter; pork belly bao buns ($19) with chili crisp, shiso, pickled carrots, cucumber, daikon, and toasted cashews; rock shrimp and pork belly fried rice ($37); and cast iron chicken ($28) featuring a crispy, pan roasted ½ chicken with green beans, garlic pangrattato, and herb butter. Finish on a sweet note with a dark chocolate s’mores torte ($12.50), accompanied by toasted vanilla bean marshmallows, brown butter graham crackers, and whipped cream.

For a quick trip back to 1970s Malaysia, City Oyster has added the Jungle Bird ($13.50) to its cocktail menu. The tiki-style sipper is loaded with Diplomatico rum, freshly squeezed pineapple and lime juices, Campari, and garnished with a leaf and pineapple wedge.
