The Seagate Appoints New Executive Chef

 The Seagate in Delray Beach has announced the recent hiring of executive chef Dmitriy Kakuschke who will oversee its award-winning Hotel, Beach Club, Yacht Club, and Golf Club culinary operations teams.

Chef Dmitriy Kakuschke recently joined The Seagate from the 4-Diamond JW Marriott luxury hotel in Nashville, Tennessee where he helmed as executive chef at Bourbon Steak managed by Michelin starred chef Michael Mina. During his tenure at Bourbon Steak, chef Kakuschke’s efforts helped garner honorable distinctions including ‘Top 10 Fine Dining Restaurant in the Country’, ‘Top 1% of Restaurants Worldwide’, and ‘Best Restaurant in Nashville’. Kakuschke assumed the executive chef role after three successful years as the steakhouse’s executive sous chef, a position retained upon the restaurant’s opening in 2018. Chef Dmitriy previously served as an associate of the Fontainebleau Hotel and Resort in Miami Beach, Florida and chef at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Originally from Kiev, Ukraine, Kakuschke grew up in South Florida and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Miami, Florida. In his new role at The Seagate, Kakuschke will oversee the property’s culinary program and spearhead new seasonal menus.
