14 Feb Junior League of Boca Raton’s 2024 Annual Week of Impact
Members of the Junior League of Boca Raton will make a large impact in the community March 11-16 during its annual Week of Impact. Projects will include reading to K-2 students at Plumosa School of the Arts, participating in food drives for the underserved at Boca Helping Hands, delivering feminine hygiene supplies, and gathering gowns and accessories for ‘Prom Beach: Making Prom Possible’.
“No person should be forced to choose between nourishing themselves and prioritizing their personal well-being,” said Meghan Shea, president of the Junior League of Boca Raton. “We are collecting necessary items that will benefit the individuals of our community that are in distress.”
Members of the community are invited to participate in the hygiene items drive, dress donation, and food drive. All donations will benefit organizations in the local community, including Boca Helping Hands, Cereal4All, and Prom Beach.
Hygiene Drive: Pads, tampons, menstrual cups and wipes are needed. The public can either shop locally or visit our Amazon wishlist.
Donation Dress Drive: Gowns, cocktail dresses, and accessories for prom are needed. Dresses need to be cleaned and on a hanger.
