08 Jun Father’s Day Deliciousness at Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens
Celebrate Chichi no hi (Japanese for Father’s Day) and International Sushi Dayon June 18 at Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach.
Take your chichi (“father” in Japanese) on a delicious trip to the Land of the Rising Sun via the Cornell Café. The museum’s celebrated Pan-Asian restaurant, which overlooks a placid lake and gardens, will roll out a special Tuna Poke Bowl ($16), featuring marinated ahi tuna with edamame, avocado, wakame seaweed salad, pickled carrots, sesame seeds, and spicy mayo served over seasoned sushi rice.
Dad can also have his cake and eat it too. Indulge in a trio of sweet showstoppers, like creamy chocolate mousse cake, vanilla crêpe cake, or raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake.
Father‘s Day hours at the Cornell Café are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Museum admission is required to visit the restaurant.
