Jean Shafiroff Hosts American Humane Luncheon at Swifty’s Palm Beach

 American Humane, the nation’s first and largest animal welfare organization, was honored this week at a an al fresco luncheon hosted by prominent New York and Palm Beach philanthropist, and avid animal welfare advocate, Jean Shafiroff, at Swifty’s at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. 

 

More than two dozen of Mrs. Shafiroff’s benevolent, animal lover friends gathered to celebrate the American Humane mission: to promote the welfare and safety of all animals, and to strengthen the bond between animals and people.

 

Notable guests included American Humane’s president and CEO Dr. Robin Ganzert, Anna Rothschild, Ava Roosevelt, Rashmee Sharma, Kim Dryer, Lauren Day Roberts, Pamela O’Connor, Kathleen Gannon, Ruth Miller, Pamela Wright, Elizabeth Steimberg, and Sharon Jablin, among others.

 

“Philanthropy is my passion,” said Mrs. Shafiroff. “I am deeply moved by the incredible work American Humane does throughout the world, and it was an absolute honor to welcome Dr. Ganzert and my dear friends to celebrate the vital programs and services the organization provides.”
